DJ DOG DICK - RELIC ROCK 

DJ DOG DICK is the best-known alias of musical polymath and visual artist Max Eisenberg. A seasoned electronic composer/ improviser and rapper-turned-singer, Eisenberg has been an underground fixture for the better part of two decades at this point. RELIC ROCK extends Eisenberg's reputation as a boundary-smearing pop artist while keeping one foot planted in his noise roots. Self-recorded, mixed, and mastered, the relatively minimalist RELIC ROCK combines drum/synth miniatures with wails and textures derived from an electro-acoustic “tin can” device and raw, uneffected vocals intended to showcase/reflect the maturing lyrical content and natural voice of the performer. Completed during a time of sabbatical and quietly self-released in 2016, this 2017 reissue represents both a closure to the artist's 12 formidable years as DJ Dog Dick and a hint at what's to come.
