JAY REATARD - LIVE @ ROBS HOUSE 05/05/07 (BOOTLEG)

This JAY REATARD bootleg EP is a live recording made by HOSS owner Brad Hurst on May 5, 2007, in the basement of the now-defunct ROB's HOUSE RECORDS headquarters in East Atlanta, originally intended for release via RH.

Capturing Jay's BLOOD VISIONS-era band at their gnarliest and farthest-into-the-red peak, this recording was unreleased for almost a decade until being unearthed by Hoss during an archival dig during the summer of 2016. The EP's harsh, truncated beginnings and endings (caused by by the antagonistic Reatard's refusal to cooperate with the recording) stand now as testament to the artist's angsty impatience during the era of his most-crucial live and studio work.
